Police “Looking Into” Alleged Incident At OBA
Police confirm they are “looking into” an alleged “incident that took place at the OBA headquarters,” while the OBA confirmed that a complaint was also lodged with the Executive, with one party member having “criticized the alleged behavior of another party member.”
An OBA spokesperson said, “We can confirm that a complaint was lodged with the Executive on Tuesday, 2 October 2018.
“The complaint was made by a party member who criticized the alleged behavior of another party member. The complaint relates to an alleged incident when only the two individuals are said to have been present.
“We take all allegations very seriously however we want to stress that is not a party matter.
“We understand it has now been referred to the Police, therefore we cannot comment further.”
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is aware of an incident that took place at the OBA headquarters and we are looking into it.”
