Estera Director To Speak At STEP Conference
Estera Bermuda Managing Director Alison Dyer-Fagundo will be speaking at the annual STEP Bermuda conference on November 1 and at the inaugural IoD Bermuda Governance Conference on November 2.
A spokesperson said, “At the STEP Bermuda conference, Alison will be speaking on the panel titled, ‘What does the future hold for Bermuda trust and corporate service providers?’ This panel will discuss the evolving role of the Bermuda licensed trustee and corporate service provider in the current international climate, exploring challenges and opportunities. The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Trusts, Technology and Transparency’. Industry leaders from Bermuda and abroad will examine topical issues pertinent to the trust & private-client industry.
“As part of the IoD Conference, Alison will be interviewed by Dr. Roger Barker, Head of Corporate Governance, IoD London, on the topic of Corporate Governance Trends. The conference provides a platform for discussion of ideas and experience to enhance future boardroom decisions.”
Alison Dyer-Fagundo said, “I am thrilled to be speaking at both conferences. The STEP Bermuda conference is always an important event for our industry. The ever increasing global regulatory demands mean this is an excellent time to discuss the challenges and opportunities for trust and corporate service providers.
“I am also looking forward to being a part of the inaugural IoD conference to strategize for the future of companies and boards in Bermuda.”
