Footballers in the Premier, First Division and Corona League were all in action recently, with Devonshire Cougars, Boulevard Blazers, St. David’s, Southampton Rangers, St. George’s Colts, Somerset Eagles, Hamilton Parish, West End United, and Robin Hood earning wins, while two other matches ended in draws.
Premier: X-Road’s 3 Paget Lions 3
At the Garrison Field, X-Road’s and the Paget Lions played to a 3 – 3 draw. The host X-Road’s got goals from Donavan Thompson, Q’Shai Darrell and Patrick Richardson, while the Paget Lions got single strikes from Dion Stovell , Akale Bean and Chare Smith.
Premier: Devonshire Cougars 4 North Village Rams 0
Devonshire Cougars recorded a 4 – 0 win over the North Village Rams at the Devonshire Recreation Club. The Devonshire Cougars got double strikes from Zari Simmons and Allan Douglas in their win.

The Bermuda Football Association on the advice from the Western Stars Sports Club Executive the St. John’s Field is waterlogged and therefore the match scheduled for today between the Dandy Town Hornets and the PHC Zebras has been postponed.
Premier: Somerset Trojans 1 Boulevard Blazers 3
Visitors Boulevard Blazers run up the Premier Division standings continue with a 3 – 1 win over the Somerset Trojans at Somerset Cricket Club.
They went from ninth to sixth with the three points, while Trojans remain anchored at the bottom of the standings and appear confirmed already for relegation at season’s end.
Ian Coke would score twice for the Boulevard Blazers who also got an own goal, while the lone Somerset Trojans goal came from Ramar Simmons.
First: Ireland Rangers 2 St. David’s 3
St. David’s travelled west to Malabar to take on the Ireland Rangers 3 – 2. Henry Santucci gave Ireland Rangers the lead in the fifth minute, but Jarreau Daniels equalized in the next. Kontai Burton gave the visitors the lead in the 32nd minute, with Daniels scoring his second in the 77th minute to give St. David’s a 3 – 1 lead, Santucci would pull a goal back for Ireland Rangers in injury time but time ran out on them getting the equalizer.
First: Wolves 1 Southampton Rangers 6
Southampton Rangers made it seven wins out of nine matches as they maintained their league lead the league after picking up a 6 – 1 win over Wolves at Garrison Field. Donte Brangman would score twice for the visitors, while Jarazhino Basset, Cardel Henry, Ezekiel Stoneham and Maquel Nisbett-Tankard all added a goal each, while Marcus Ming score the lone goal for Wolves.
First: St. George’s Colts 2 Devonshire Colts 0
St. George’s Colt won the battle of the Colts at Wellington Oval after they defeated Devonshire Colts 2 – 0. The St. George’s Colts took the lead in the 50th minute when David Signor scored and then in the 83rd minute Sage Paynter would double the lead earning the home team the win.
First: Young Men Social Club 1 Somerset Eagles 2
At Police Field visitors Somerset Eagles would grab all three points following their 2 – 1 win over Young Men Social Club. Leo Burgess gave Eagles the lead in the seventh minute, Jahnair Lewis Trott equalized for the Young men Social Club in the 35th minute, but Anwar Telford would strike in the 45th minute to earn the visitors the three point as there was no scoring in the second half.
First: Vasco 0 Hamilton Parish 3
After a scoreless first half at the Bernard Park, promotion chasers Hamilton Parish defeated Vasco 3 – 0.
Shayne Hollis opened the scoring in the 58th minute, Jeremiah Steede doubled the lead in the 76th minute and then Chris Caisey closed out the scoring in injury time earning the visitors the three points.
Corona: West End United 4 BAA 0
West End United scored four unanswered goals in their win over BAA. West End United got single strikes from Peter Smith, Trevor Corday, Lamaul Crofton and Dylan Desilva.
Corona: Lock and Key 0 Robin Hood 12
Robin Hood handed Lock and Key a 12 – 0 defeat, Luke Morrison led the way with a hat-trick, while Matthew Maderios found the back of the net twice. Robin Hood also got single strikes from Jake Fox, Steven Simons, Jon Saville, Mike Armstrong, Nick Parker, Colin O’Sullivan and Brett Murray.
