Parliament: Order Of Business For November 30

Statements on the re-organization of the Human Resource Function in the Public Service and the Community Outreach: Career Development, Registration and Training Drive are due to be delivered in the House of Assembly on Friday [Nov 30], while Bills on the Order Paper include the Bermuda Monetary Amendment [No.3] Act 2018, the Insurance Amendment [No.3] Act 2018, the Allied Health Professions Amendment Act 2018, the Criminal Code [Sex Offender Management] Amendment Act 2018 and the Children Amendment Act 2018.

In addition, Opposition MP Trevor Moniz is due to deliver a “personal explanation,” while Ministers are due to answer Parliamentary Questions on topics including the 57 anti-doping tests which cost the Bermuda Sport Anti-Doping Authority $102,996, the number of paid civil servants by Ministry, and the report and recommendations produced by a UK firm regarding the state of King’s Wharf in Dockyard.
