Riders Prepare For CEA Jumping Challenge
The Bermuda Round of the 2018 Caribbean Equestrian Association’s [CEA] Regional Jumping Challenge will take place on Saturday, November 24 at the National Equestrian Centre
A spokesperson said, “The Caribbean Equestrian Association was formed in 1997 and Bermuda has been a member country since 1999. Other Member countries include Antigua, Jamaica, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Trinidad & Tobago and Haiti. ”
“One of the primary goals of the CEA is to encourage equestrian activities in the region by the promotion of intra-Caribbean events. The CEA RJC provides an excellent opportunity for local riders to compete against other countries without the expense of traveling overseas.
“The format for this year’s CEA Regional Jumping Championship will see adults and children competing over two specific rounds of jumps at three different jumping heights.
“This competition is most unique as there is no distinction between age and gender. Males and females, adults and children all have the opportunity to compete against each other.”
