Bermuda Sailors Continue Orange Bowl Regatta
The 2018 Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta continued off the shores of Miami, with Bermuda’s team continuing in the waters,
Jade Smith is leading the Bermuda Fleet competing in the Optimist Green Fleet, Smith is in 14th place after 2 races with finishes of 23rd and 11th.
Trystan Hocking is the second Bermuda sailor and 17th overall with 35 points, while Sam Redburn is 19th with 39 points.
Oliver Soares is currently 24th with 53 points, while Luis Miguel Power is 27th with 60 points, Jack Adderley is 36th in the fleet with 72 points.
Ciarra Wells is 38th with 75 points, Brianna Smith is 42nd with 82 points, while Arianna Smith is holding down the 46th spot with 88 points and A’Marley Raynor is 49th with 98 points.
Namazio Dill is currently in 52nd place with 104 points, Tajahri Rogers is 55th with 109 points and Alexander Pigott is 58th with 119 points.
Two more races were sailed in the 212 Optimist Fleet with Sebastian Kempe now in second place overall with 12 points this after finishes of 3rd and 10th in the two races on the day, Kempe is also in second place in the Red Fleet as well.
Rachael Betschart is the next Bermuda sailor she fell from her starting position of 40th overall to 62nd with 97 points, Betschart is in 40th place in the Red Fleet, holding down the 67th overall position is Paul Rodrigues with 102 points he is 22nd in the Blue Fleet.
Ethan Thompson is currently 49th in the Blue Fleet and 125th overall with 191 points, while Sophia Dias is 6th in the White Fleet and 132nd overall with 201 points. In the 53rd position in the Blue Fleet and 134th overall is Kipling Rossouw with 202 points, with Ben Redburn 145th overall and 59th in the Blue Fleet with 223 points.
Sarah Davis is in 14th place sailing in the White Fleet and 162nd place with 247 points and Trey Whaley is holding down the 83rd place in the Red Fleet and 166th overall with 267 points.
