Car Collision Causes Traffic Diversions In Smiths
[Updated] Traffic diversions are in place as of 6.30pm today [Dec 6], in the Harrington Sound Road area due to a reported single vehicle crash according to police.
A police spokesperson said, “Traffic diversions are currently in place on Harrington Sound Road at Knapton Hill & Harrington Hundreds Road. due to a reported single vehicle crash.
“Motorists are advised to take alternate routes if possible and to expect delays in the area.”
Update 6.55pm: A police spokesperson said, “Traffic diversions no longer in effect on Harrington Sound Road.
“The driver and passenger of the car involved, believed to be an 83 year old woman and her 12 year old granddaughter, apparently declined medical treatment at the scene.
“Any witnesses should call 295-0011.”
