Guelph Storm 8 Worchester Railers 3
The Guelph Storm recorded an 8 – 3 win over the Worchester Railers.
The Guelph Storm got 2 goals from JM Tremblay, Christopher Merritt and Chris Allington, while Robert Rego and Nathan Kowalski both added a goal.
The Worchester Railers got single strikes from Joel Neal, Tom Miller and Andrew Bonner.
Rimouski Oceanic 5 Red Deer Rebels 1
The Rimouski Oceanic defeated the Red Deer Rebels 5 – 1. The Rimouski Oceanic held a 1 – 0 lead at the end of the first period with a goal off the stick of Josh Bush.
The Red Deer Rebels leveled the score at 1 – 1 in the second period when Jeremy Estey scored, but by the end of the period the Rimouski Oceanic would lead 4 – 1 after 2 goals from Matthew Benson and a single strike from Brian Keats.
Jeffrey Lope scored the lone goal in the third and final period for the Rimouski Oceanic.
