Photos & Videos: Marathon Weekend 10K Race

[Updated with photos + results] Hundreds of runners made their way to the National Sports Centre this morning [Jan 19] to take part in the 2019 Bermuda Marathon Weekend 10K & 10K Walk.

The Race Weekend kicked off last night with the Front Street Mile, and continues tomorrow [Jan 20] with the marathon and half marathon. We will have more information and a photo gallery later on, and in the meantime the live video is below.

Update: Suleman Shifa clocked a winning time of 32:24, with Bermuda’s Tyler Butterfield finishing second in 32:27 and Ethan Davenport finishing third clocking 33:50.

Meseret Basa was the first female to cross the line she was 7th overall stopping the clock in a time of 35.53, Heather Kampf was the second female finisher and 28th overall with a time of 41:36 and the third female finisher was Maya Weigel who was 29th overall stopping the clock in a time of 41:36.
