314 Points Scored In Basketball Triple Header

A total of 314 points were scored inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium as the Bermuda Basketball League continued with a triple header.

The Devonshire Chargers won the first game over the St. George’s Hoopstars by a score of 57 – 48. Kevin Stephens led the Devonshire Chargers with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 steals and 1 blocked shot, while Kennique Wilson from the St. George’s Hoopstars scored a game high 25 points, and also recorded 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.

The second game saw the Somerset Tsunamis defeat the Southampton Wolfpack 71 – 65. Jonathan Lugo from the Somerset Tsunamis scored a game high 26 points to lead them to victory, he also had 3 rebounds and 1 assist, while Jason Lowe scored 18 points for the Southampton Wolfpack, and also had 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.

In the final game of the night, the Pembroke Skyforce defeated the Smith’s Court Kings 64 – 59, with the Pembroke Skyforce getting 15 points from Akil Smith who also had 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals, while Jordan Knight led the Smith’s Court Kings scoring 16 points to go along with 4 rebounds.
