Students Attend Festival’s On Stage Competition
25 public school secondary and middle-school students attended last night’s Bermuda Festival’s second annual On Stage Competition through SPS.bm [Support Public Schools Bermuda] showcasing Bermuda’s best and brightest young talent in the performing arts.
“This community action initiative seeks to bridge the gap between the opportunities of private and public-school students and inspire Bermuda’s public school students with stimulating cultural events,” a spokesperson explained.
The tickets were free of charge thanks to an anonymous SPS.bm supporter and the Bermuda Festival who kindly subsidized the cost of the tickets.
