  2. Onion Peels says:

Will the custodial staff be fired after this report?

Not likely. They’ll probably be promoted to manager level and oversee the six new hires.

    • wahoo says:

Dude if we don’t fire the guy responsible for the black listing then the custodians are well safe.

  3. Paul says:

Can you believe that we send our kids off to school to learn… and low and behold they are getting sick… because the facility so called managers of these schools have no clue how to deal with the problems……

    • MB says:

      No I can’t.
Parents and teachers should march in anger on parliament until the government takes education seriously and puts someone in charge with a clue, vision, and a mandate to fix the public ed system because none of the idiots thus far has been able to
For goodness sake it is so bad they can’t even get enough P1 in take…half the kids in Bermuda go to private school,
It’s a travesty that’s failed generations of Bermudians and anyone who has been an MP, the premier or education minister ought hang their heads in shame
      Enough is enough!
Look to Nyc or Barbados if you want some ideas
Do better Bermuda for our kids

  7. Baffled beyond belief. says:

Appalling lack of performance and accountability from Government to allow facilities to drop to where we are today. Why don’t you hire a competent facilities management company that are performance driven and result orientated and end this ongoing lack of performance. Our children and teachers are getting sick and deserve better.

  8. MM says:

Either we have no money to correct the problems, or we have no one conducting regular checks thus health hazards grow in which may seriously affect the health of students in the years to come.
