Motorcycle Fire Extinguished In Hamilton Parish
[Updated] Emergency services responded to a motorcycle fire this afternoon [April 19], located on North Shore Road in the Shelly Bay, Hamilton Parish area near the junction with Radnor Road.
Traffic flow through the area was restricted as officials dealt with the blaze. Further details are limited at this time, however we will update as able.
Update 6.46pm: A police spokesperson said, “Around 2:15pm today [April 19th] police and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel attended a report of a motorcycle on fire on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish, near the junction with Radnor Road.
“On arrival, the motorcycle was found fully engulfed in flames. Temporary traffic diversions were in effect until firefighters extinguished the blaze and cleared the area of debris.
“Initial inquiries indicate that the fire was not suspicious. Witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
Police also confirmed that no one was injured.
