One phone call can make a difference in someone’s life. I received a call 12 months ago from an athletic director looking for female players to attend his school. We had never met in person (over 6-7 years) but had at least one email exchange every year.
In short, I told him give me 72 hours and I would find the best available student athlete on the island. As promised, Jade Stewart was the result of that one phone call.
I am so proud of her as she has opened up the door for others to follow. At least 2 other Bermudians will be joining her in August. One phone call can make a difference in someone’s life.
Keep up the good work Jade!
