Allied World Promotes Michael Murdoch-Smith
Allied World Assurance Holdings, GmbH, today [May 6] announced that Michael Murdoch-Smith, CPCU, ARe and RPLU, has been promoted to Vice President, Professional Lines and Team Leader of Allied World’s Bermuda E&O team.
A spokesperson said, “Mike oversees Professional Liability for large law, accounting, architects & engineers and consulting firms. Mike is also the Cyber product lead, responsible for product development, strategy and underwriting.”

“Mike has distinguished himself with his knowledge and understanding of Professional Lines products,” said Dale Chow, Senior Vice President, Head of Bermuda Professional Lines. “He has also participated on numerous cyber industry conference panels, most recently during the March Net Diligence Conference in Bermuda.”
“Mike holds a B.A. from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada”, the spokesperson added. “He lives in Devonshire with his wife and two daughters.”
