Lornell Taylor Named ‘Inspiring Woman In ICT’
The Government of Bermuda congratulated Lornell Taylor, this year’s Inspiring Woman in ICT and all the winners and participants in the Girls in ICT competition.
The Government posted the photo online below, and said, “Congrats to Lornell Taylor, this year’s Inspiring Woman in ICT & all the winners & participants in the #GirlsinICT competition. The Department of ICT Policy and Innovation ran the competitions to mark the occasion of the International Telecommunication Union’s [ITU] Girls in ICT Day.
“The global effort is meant to encourage girls and young women to consider studies and careers in information and communication technologies [ICT].
“In Bermuda there are more IT jobs than there are Bermudians ready to fill them. That is why the @BdaGovernment is providing free technology education.”
