The General Post Office [GPO] is advising that effective Monday, July 1st the Letter Floor and Parcel Post hours of operation will be from 8.00am to 5.00pm daily, with last customer serviced at 4.30pm
A Government spokesperson said, “The General Post Office [GPO] is advising that effective Monday, July 1st the Letter Floor and Parcel Post hours of operation will be from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. daily, with last customer serviced at 4.30 pm.
“The GPO takes this opportunity to thank the public for their cooperation as the Post Office implements operational measures to improve overall customer service and efficiency.”
Does this mean it takes 30 minutes to serve each customer……?
Have you been there? It sure feels that way.
No, 30 minutes to count cash before going home.
It means the new hours are from 8-4:30 which is how Govt increases operational efficiency and improves overall customer service. If somehow that doesn’t make sense think of it this way, 1/2 hour less time that customers have to deal with government every day has to be a plus for the customer…make sense now?
