Sailors Conclude European Championships
Four Bermuda sailors concluded competing in the 2019 Optimist European Championship in Crozon-Morgat, France.
PJ Rodrigues, Amelia Lewis, Rachael Betscart, and Ava Rosser were flying the Bermuda flag during the event.
In the Boy’s Division that had 176 sailors, Rodrigues finished in 152nd place after a total of 10 races sailed in the Regatta, with the sailor finishing with 299 net points.
With 117 girls on the water, Lewis led the Bermuda Fleet with 181 net points, she finished in 65th place, Betschart was 80th with 231 net points and Rosser finished in 112th place with 365 net points.
