Ministry: 73 Bus Runs Cancelled On Thursday

[Updated] The Ministry released the list of bus cancellations for this morning [June 6] with the list indicating that there are sixty-two bus runs cancelled so far today.

Update 5.30pm: The Ministry has released the list of bus cancellations for this afternoon. There were 62 runs cancelled this morning, 11 cancelled this afternoon, for a total of 73 cancelled today.

    Apparently they need to hire an additional 16 mechanics to maintain the fleet. As if that will make any positive difference. Why not contract out the maintenance to the private sector, and include the drivers too.

    Why not give the schedule for the upcoming week the weekend before to enable people to schedule rides to school, work. Also bring back the War Baby Ferry to the East End. Yesterday there were two ferries in St. George’s.
