Bermuda Futsal Federation All-Star Game
The best players in the Bermuda Futsal Federation were recently selected and formed two teams in order to hold an all-star game.
The game started out slowly as neither team was able to break down the other defensively. Gradually, both teams settled down and traded goal for goal and at half time the score was tied up at six goals each.
In the early stages of the second half, Team Blue scored a number of quick goals and threatened to easily win the game, but White Team coach Cheyra Bell made a number of critical changes and were led by the dynamic play of Ian Coke, who scored four goals in the second half.
Coach Vinzie Zuill responded for the Blue Team and were led by Kole Hall to even the game at full time with the score of 12 goals each. Penalties were required to determine the winner, and after three penalties, the score was still tied up at 15 goals apiece. Sudden death penalties commenced and the Blue’s goal keeper Fabio Medeiros made a fantastic save to give the Blue Team the victory by a final score of 16 to 15.
