Bermuda Players Continue CASA Tournament

The singles portion of the 2019 Junior Caribbean Area Squash Association [CASA] Individual Squash Tournament came to an end in Trinidad with Bermuda players taking to the courts.

In the Boy’s Singles Under 11 Division Owen Roserea went down to his opponent and number one seed Jayden George from St. Vincent and The Grenadines 11-8, 11-6, 11-6.

Charlie Riker won his Boy’s Singles Under 17 match over his opponent from Cayman Islands Pierce Terry 11-7, 11-6, 11-5, while Matthew Elliott went down in his match against Samuel Ince-Carvalhal from Guyana 11-9, 11-8, 11-8.

In the Girls Singles Under 17 Division match Abigail Brewer defeated her opponent from Trinidad and Tobago Chloe Walcott 11-8, 10-12, 11-6, 9-11, 11-8.

Anaya Smith went down in his Boy’s Singles Under 19 match to David Pitcairn from Cayman Islands 6-11, 11-6, 7-11, 11-7, 12-10, Taylor Carrick went down 11-6, 11-1, 11-5 to Khamal Cumberbatch from Barbados.
