Bermuda Win Three More Island Games Medals

The NatWest International Island Games competition came to an end in Gibraltar, with Bermuda capturing three more medals on the final day of competition.

Bowlers Damien Matthews & Lamar Richardson won two more medals, while tennis players Gavin Manders and David Thomas won a medal in the doubles final.

Athletics

Sean Trott finished 8th competing in the Half Marathon Men, Trott clocked a time of 1:13.25.

Tennis

Gavin Manders and David Thomas won the Silver Medal in the Men’s Doubles going down in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 to Stuart Parker and Michael Watkins from Jersey.

Ten Pin Bowling

Damien Matthews won the Silver Medal, while Lamar Richardson won the Bronze Medal competing in the Men’s Masters event.

Patrice Tucker managed to make it to the final 8 in the Women’s Masters.
