Made In Bermuda Nights Cup Match Edition
A special Cup Match edition of Made in Bermuda Nights looks set to rally some early holiday rivalry among locals and visitors on White’s Island tonight.
Guests are invited to sport their respective team colours supporting either Somerset [blue/red] or St. George’s [blue/blue] at this week’s event, which features bands One Soulution and Sheila Smith & Friends, along with music by DJ iBreeze.
The popular entertainment series—running every Thursday from 9pm to midnight through August 15—offers a unique private-island experience featuring local musicians in a relaxed setting overlooking Hamilton Harbour. Tickets are $50 at gpass.bm
“Since Made in Bermuda Nights debuted last summer ticketholders have discovered a stellar line-up of 100 percent local talent, which is exactly what our visitors say they’re looking for from the island’s music scene,” said BTA Chief Experience Development Officer Glenn Jones.
“Whether White’s Island or Dockyard, Front Street or a local hotel, our summer events calendar has been full of opportunities for visitors and locals to experience live, local musicians and all the Bermuda culture they deliver.”
Three other weekly summer events celebrating Bermuda culture and entertainment include:
- Destination Dockyard: Culture Fest [6:30–9:30pm, Mondays through August 26], North Lawn, Royal Naval Dockyard, Sandys: a celebration of arts, technology, entertainment and heritage offering guests local cuisine, sporting demonstrations, and interactive art spaces at one of Bermuda’s top historic sites. - Harbour Nights [7–10 pm, Wednesdays through September 4], Front Street, City of Hamilton: Bermuda’s longest-running street festival, now in its 25th year, featuring local artisans, food vendors, gombeys and entertainers turns our harbourside into a pedestrian thoroughfare and attracts crowds of Bermuda residents and visitors.
