Photos & Video: Commuters’ Cup Match Cheers
Waving flags and Cup Match cheers greeted motorists in the east end this morning [July 31] when children and staff from the St George’s Community Centre and Camp Paw Paw gathered to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
Dressed in light blue and dark blue and waving flags, members of the St George’s Community Centre gathered at the round-a-bout leading in to the east end. A short time later Camp Paw Paw arrived dressed to represent both teams, and gathered at Stone Crusher Corner on Kindley Field Road.
Motorists responded by tooting their horns, waving and shouting out cheers and greetings.
