Road Closures For Unity Concert On Saturday
The Ministry of Public Works is reminding the public of the road restrictions and road closures that will be in effect along Frog Lane, Roberts Avenue and Parson’s Road for the Unity Festival concert on Saturday [Aug 17].
A Government spokesperson said, “The road restrictions will be in effect from Saturday, 17 August to Sunday 18 August, 2019.
- “Frog Lane, Devonshire, from the junction of the Frog Lane round-a-bout to the Devonshire Recreation Club [DRC] entrance will be one-way traffic only starting at 6.00 p.m. 17 August.
- “The eastern section of Parsons Road from Roberts Avenue to the round-a-bout near Frog Lane will be closed to all traffic.
- “There will be two-way traffic flow on Frog Lane from the DRC to Palmetto Road while the remainder of the road will be one-way.
- “Roberts Avenue roadway will be made one-way in a northerly direction toward Palmetto Road.
- “The remainder of Parsons Road from Roberts Avenue into the City of Hamilton will have no changes.
“Roadways are expected to reopen on Sunday 18 August at 3.00 a.m.
“The Ministry of Public Works takes this opportunity to thank the public in advance for their patience and cooperation during these road restrictions and road closures.”
