BUEI To Host Weekend Glow Worm Cruises
Two cruises will be departing the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] dock this weekend in search of one of nature’s more spectacular mating rituals: the bioluminescent shows put on by the island’s glow worms.
The tiny sea creatures, less than an inch long, light up the shallow waters around the island once a month after each full moon.
The cruises are being held on Saturday [Aug. 17] and Sunday [Aug 18]. Tickets are $40 for BUEI members; $50 for non-members. Cash bars will be available on board. For times and information call 294-0204 or email giftshop@buei.bm
