Take Notice of a Special Session of the Liquor Licensing Authority to be held on Tuesday the 20th day of August, 2019 at the Chamber of Commerce Board Room, at 9:30 a.m. to hear the applications of the applicants listed below:

Temporary Lane Closure
For
The Airport To Relocate The Palm Trees
From Monday 26th August Through To Friday 13th September, 2019
This Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists there will be ongoing temporary lane closures on Cahow Way, St. Georges to accommodate the relocation of the palm trees from the airport departure terminal median and the bike/car short term parking lot median.
These temporary lane closures will take approximately 1 hour per day from Monday 26th August through to Friday 13th September, 2019.
The section of Cahow Way that will be affected by this temporary lane closure starts from the L.F.Wade departure terminal entrance, to the airport arrival terminal exit on the eastbound lane; leading to the airport dump.
Motorists will be restricted to the use of one-lane on Cahow Way to allow for motorists to travel to the airport dump, and the taxi stand to pass. The traffic control will be under direction of the Airport Authority/Skyport representatives.
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.

Lane Closures
For
Emergency Embankment Repairs
August 2019
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists there will be one-lane closure on Daniel’s Head Road, Sandy for emergency embankment repairs starting the end of August.
The one-lane closure will be near the junction of Long Bay Lane and end near #10 Daniel’s Head Road in Sandys. These works will commence Monday 26th August through to Friday 30th August between the hours of 8:00am and 2:30pm daily in order to accommodate embankment repairs.
Motorists will be restricted to the use of one lane during these times. Traffic controls will be under the direction of the Ministry of Public Works Highway’s Department representatives. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this section of road works, and use alternative routes.
Access along sections of the lane closures will be permitted for emergency vehicles and residents as the need arises.
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
