Tennis: Mackai Whitter Wins Final In St Augustine
Mackai Whitter won the ‘all Bermuda’ final at the International Tennis Federation’s COTECC Trinidad Summer Bowl after defeating Antonio Warner — who is also Bermudian — in straight sets.
A day after qualifying for the final and then winning the doubles, Whitter and Warner were both back on the court at the St Augustine Tennis Club in St Augustine.
Playing in the Boy’s 14 & Under Division Finals, Whitter won the final 7-6, 6-2, ending an impressive showing from the two youth tennis players in the international event.
