End-To-End Deadline Extended Due To Storms
Charities are being given extra time to submit applications for donations from the 2020 End to End due to the recent storms. The original deadline for receipt submissions was Monday, September 30, at 5pm, but that has now been extended to October 4, at 5pm.
Anne Mello, the End-to-End Board Chair, said: “With so much disruption and with so many people suffering damage we thought it only right that this deadline was extended.”
The focus is on the Bermuda Family and applications are being sought from charities that will address seniors basic needs and support services; youth enrichment opportunities to help overcome negative social issues and families support services for physical and emotional trauma and health.
This year, four charities each received an unexpected bonus after the event raised an extra $60,000. WindReach, Age Concern, Friends of Hospice and Raleigh Bermuda each received a check for $45,000 – $15,000 more than originally anticipated.
