Police: Locate 83-Yr-Old Man [Located]
[Updated] The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 83 year old Richard Bascome Snr.
A police spokesperson said, “Mr. Bascome is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall of slim build with grey hair.
“He was apparently last seen around 6pm Sunday, October 20th at his Greenfield Lane, Sandys parish home wearing blue jeans, a pleated multi-coloured shirt and a black hat by a family member.
“There is concern for his wellbeing and so far efforts by police to locate Mr. Bascome in the surrounding area of Westover Farm have proven unsuccessful.
“Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 83 year old Richard Bascome Snr. is encouraged to call the main police telephone number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity.”
Update October 21, 7.50am: A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 83-year-old Richard Bascome Snr.
“He was eventually found in the Somerset Road, Cambridge Road Sandys parish area in good health and has been reunited with his family.”
