November 16, 2019

MacQuille Walker, Zenawi Bowen, Micah Mendes and their Thomas College Men’s Soccer teammates won the North Atlantic Conference [NAC] Championship for the second-straight year and sixth time in program history with a 4-1 win over top-seeded Maine Maritime.

Walker got it started for Thomas in the 19th minute, taking a feed from Josh Irving and buried the shot for the 1-0 lead. He scored again in the 25th minute, taking a through ball from Bowen and slipping between the MMA defenders for the 2-0 lead.

Walker factored into the third Thomas goal, laying a perfect free kick into the box that found the head of Princiel Kunieki, who redirected it in for the 3-0 advantage at the half.

Eric LaBrie scored the final goal for Thomas in the 49th minute when he took the ball in transition, dribbled through the defense and send a shot against the grain and past the keeper for the 4-0 lead.

Maine Maritime added one in the 57th, but Thomas shut them out the rest of the way for the 4-1 victory.
