Bermuda Match Play 1st Round & Quarter Final
The 1st round and quarter final matches were played today [Nov 30] in the Bermuda Match Play Championships at Port Royal Golf Course.
The #1 seed and defending champion Jarryd Dillas advanced to the semi-finals after defeating Chris Papageorge 6 & 5. He will be playing Will Haddrell in the semi-final starting at 7.48am tomorrow. Richard Neame and Damian Palanyandi also won their matches and will be competing for a place in the final.
In the Ladies Championship flight, Ebonie Cox won her match over Valerie Nearon’ on the 19th hole and will face Kathy Lloyd-Hines who beat Katrin Burnie, while Tracy Nash defeated Laura Robinson and will play Linda Down who advanced after beating Tracy Burgess. The matches were closely contested and once again promise to provide an exciting final.
In the Senior Men’s Championship Division, Barry Brewer will face Peter Smith and Terry Mullan will be up against Craig Christensen.
