Police “Give A Child A Christmas” Initiative
Today [Dec 16], members of the Bermuda Police Service’s A-Watch Central, RMSU and ComOps presented two West Pembroke Primary students with gifts as part of their annual Give a Child a Christmas initiative.
A police spokesperson said, “Over the past five years, A-Watch Central have selected a school in the central parishes, and with the assistance of the school counselor identified a deserving male and female student to receive gifts.”
“This year, a sleigh full of gifts were presented to 7-year-old Nasayah and 8-year-old Zionde’ in the presence of family members and the school counselor, Ms. Michelle Spencer.
“The individual officers made a combined donation of over $1,200 allowing them to purchase toys, books and school snacks for the youngsters and an additional gift of a MarketPlace gift voucher was presented to the guardians of the children.”
