Video: Celebrating IDPD With Jason Minors
In the third of a series of interviews in honour of the upcoming International Day for Persons with Disabilities [IDPD], the Bermuda Disability Advisory Council spotlights Jason Minors.
The series is a collaboration between the Bermuda Disability Advisory Council and CITV, who said they “put together a series of interviews to highlight some of Bermuda’s very own heroes.”
“The interviews are of five local people with disabilities that share how they have worked with their disability to become functioning and successful people. Each day a new interview will be aired until December 3, the International Day for Persons with Disabilities,” a spokesperson said.
“Since 1992, the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities [IDPD] has been annually observed on December 3 around the world. This important observance aims to increase awareness and promote the rights of persons with disabilities.
“This year’s celebration will be held on Tuesday, December 3 at the Bermuda Society of Arts in City Hall from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.”
