Chamber To Host ‘Unconscious Bias’ Workshop

The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce will host a full day workshop on “Unconscious Bias”, which is open to members and non members, at the Chamber offices on Tuesday, February 18th, from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

A spokesperson said, “Presented by Martha Kirkland, International partner for FranklinCovey in Bermuda, this workshop tackles how to counteract the potentially harmful impacts of unconscious bias and how to create a workplace in which everyone feels valued and empowered to offer their best. Attendees will learn to recognize the impact of bias on behavior, decisions and performance, increase empathy and explore bias.

“The workshop is geared for any manager who wants to address unconscious bias’s impact on decision- making, and build a more inclusive culture.
