Evans & Smith Begin World Cup Series In Miami
The Hempel World Cup Series 2020 in Miami recently got underway with both Benn Smith and Rockal Evans looking to advance to the Olympics.
Evans, in the Finn Class, needs to beat the two Mexican sailors to claim the one Americas spot up for grabs and after two races he leads them both.
After two races, Evans was in eighth place with 15 points after finishing eighth in the first race and seventh in the second.
Smith came off the water in 11th place with 29 points in the 40 Men Laser Fleet after two races.
In the first race of the day, Smith finished 19th; he then finished 10th in the second race of the day.
