Kiara’s Movement Hold Bake Sale, Plan Walk

January 4, 2020

In an effort to raise awareness and funds to assist in suicide prevention, Kiara’s Movement is hosting a bake sale today [Jan 4] outside of Empire Grocery on North Shore in Devonshire.

15-year-old Kiara Paiva died in January 2019, and after her tragic death her family formed Kiara’s Movement with an aim to honour her memory, support other families who have lost someone, and raise awareness to prevent suicides.

Today’s bake sale started at around noon, and will last until supplies do, with a number of baked goods on offer, including cupcakes, glass candy, popcorn, cookies and more.
