Police Issue Appeal To Locate Teen [Located]

Destiny Winters Bermuda Nov 19 2019[Updated] The police have issued another appeal for assistance in locating 14-year-old Destiny Winters.

A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is once again seeking the assistance of the public in locating 14-year-old Destiny Winters. The teen attended school Thursday morning [January 9th] but did not return to her designated Government Care Facility as scheduled later that day.

“She is described as brown complexioned, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing around 130 pounds with her hair now dyed black and in a ponytail.

“Destiny was last seen wearing her CedarBridge Academy uniform: light blue school shirt, grey skirt, grey socks, black shoes with a maroon sweater and is known to frequent locations in Pembroke including Fentons Drive, Parsons Road, St. Augustine Hill, Middletown, One Way Deepdale and The Glebe Road.

“So far efforts by police officers to locate her have been unsuccessful.

“Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 14-year-old Destiny Winters is asked to call police on 295-0011 or her designated Government Care Facility on 292-3699.”

Update 4.45pm: A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 14 year old Destiny Winters.

“She was found safe and well this afternoon [Friday, January 10th] and returned to her designated Government Care Facility.”
