NASA: Antares Rocket Launch Rescheduled
A rocket launch in Virginia that may have been visible from Bermuda – originally scheduled for yesterday [Feb 9] – was called off due to “off-nominal readings from a ground support sensor.”
NASA said, “Northrop Grumman and NASA have set the next launch attempt to no earlier than Feb. 13 at 4:06 p.m. EST, due to an unfavorable weather forecast over the next two days, and time required to address the ground support issue.”
Northrop Grumman released the projected path of the scheduled launch, and they tweeted a photo saying, “#DYK you can see a rocket launch along the East Coast on Sunday? Watch our NG-13 #Antares head to the @Space_Station at 5:39pm ET.”
