July 21, 2022

A SpaceX launch that took place earlier this week from Kennedy Space Center in Florida was spotted in Bermuda by some locals, including Mike Cornish who captured an image of the spectacular sight.

The SpaceX website said, “On Thursday, July 14 at 8:44 p.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched Dragon on the 25th Commercial Resupply Services [CRS-25] mission from Launch Complex 39A [LC-39A] at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship located in the Atlantic Ocean. Dragon separated from Falcon 9’s second stage about twelve minutes after liftoff and will dock to the space station on Saturday, July 16 at approximately 11:20 a.m. ET.”
