Lone Star Brahmas 4 – Quad City Mallards 1
In this match, the Lone Star Brahmas held a 2 – 0 lead at the end of the first period, with Matthew Benson scoring both of his goals in the period.
The Lone Star Brahmas scored two more goals in the second period to take a 4 – 0 lead, with Chad Cundliffe and Dustin Luck notching one each.
The Quad City Mallards scored their lone goal of the game in the third period, with Chris Coleman finding the back of the net.
Milwaukee Admirals 7 – San Francisco Spiders 6
The nightcap needed a shootout to determine a winner, with Robbie Bailey finding the back of the net in the shootout for the Milwaukee Admirals to claim the win.
In regulation time, the Milwaukee Admirals got two goals from Bailey, along with singles strikes from Darren Maksymetz, Ross Rufiange, Curran Trenouth, and Mark James.
James Amaral scored twice for the San Francisco Spiders, while Shannon Gosse, JM Tremblay, Matt Mcphail and Adrian Stromberg added a goal each.
