“A cheque will be presented to Meals on Wheels as the recipient of the fourth quarter proceeds,” a spokesperson said.
“Starting today and for a limited time, [in conjunction with the start of Heart Month], funds raised from the Kraft Cares campaign, will be donated to the Bermuda Heart Foundation.
“The management & staff of both KraftHeinz and Butterfield & Vallis would like to thank everyone for purchasing Kraft Cheese and supporting these incredible charities.”
And there it is! We have homeless and mental ill people walking around Hamilton City all day and we can’t figure out how to help them, but we can give money for animals! I love animals too, but most of them should be left in their own habitat in the wild!
Oh well, and lets remember one of the 1st laws on the island in the 1600′s was to save the turtles, but you can enslave people!? Go figure!
