Photos & Video: Old Stadium Cottage Demolished

The old Stadium Cottage at the gate of the National Sports Center in Devonshire was demolished yesterday [Feb 12], with workers removing the remnants of the building, which had fallen into a state of disrepair.

National Sports Center Operation Manager Craig Tyrell said, “”The cottage actually served us all very well over the years. It was our office and main hub for business here.

“Unfortunately, it fell into disrepair over the years,” he added. “We are grateful that the powers that be have seen fit to knock it down so we can help to beautify the facility and get it ready for bigger things to come this year.”
