Police Execute Warrants, Two Men Arrested

Police executed two warrants at separate residences in Pembroke, with a 23-year-old man arrested in connection with the armed robbery at Gold Standard, while an 18-year-old male was arrested in relation to the shooting of a 22-year-old man on Happy Valley Lane on February 13th.

A police spokesperson said, “At around 4:30 pm on Tuesday 18th February, police executed a warrant at a Field View Lane Pembroke residence, where a number of items were seized and a 23-year-old man arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation into the January 29th robbery at Gold Standard in the Washington Mall, in the city of Hamilton.

“At around 5:25pm on the same date police executed a firearms warrant at a residence on Factory Lane in Pembroke. A number of items were also seized and an 18-year-old male arrested for attempted murder, in relation to a firearms incident which took place at Happy Valley Lane in Pembroke, on the night of Thursday 13th February and which left a 22 year-old male with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
