Road Closures For Warwick Academy Fun Run
The Ministry of Public Works is advising the public of road closures on Morgan Road and part of Harbour Road in Warwick to accommodate the Warwick Academy 5K Fun Run on Sunday [Feb 23].
A government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works advises motorists and pedestrians of road closures on Morgan Road and part of Harbour Road in Warwick to accommodate the Warwick Academy 5K Fun Run, to be held on Sunday, February 23 from 1.30pm until 3.00pm.
“For the duration of this event, Morgan Road will be closed from the Warwick Academy’s west side exit near Middle Road to Harbour Road, and Harbour Road will be closed from Morgan Road to just west of Tamarind Vale.
“Motorists are urged to avoid these road sections and advised to take alternative routes on Middle Road, Keith Hall Road, or Longford Road until the event is complete and the roads are reopened.
“Warwick Academy representatives will manage traffic flow and the Bermuda Police Service will be present to close or open streets and restrict or authorize parking as needed. Access will otherwise be restricted to emergency vehicles and residents only.
