Covid-19: Corporation Of St. George Advisory
St George’s Town Hall and Somers Garden are closed, public restrooms will be closed today, wi-fi and music in King’s Square has ceased, the Corporation of St. George will continue to collect trash as per the normal schedule and the CSG offices are closed, but staff have access to email.
A spokesperson said, “The Corporation of St. George [CSG] would like to inform the public that the following measures have been taken to combat COVID-19, these measures are taken in conjunction with the mandates outlined by the Bermuda Government.
- “Town Hall and Somers Garden are closed to the public.
- “All public restrooms will be closed to the public effective Wednesday, 25″, March.
- “The WIFI and music in King’s Square has ceased effectively immediately, with the goal to encourage people to not congregate.
- “The CSG will continue to collect trash in the Town as per the normal schedule.
- “The CSG offices are closed, for an urgent matter please visit our website www.corpstgeorge.bm and under the contact us section an e-mail can be sent. The CSG staff have access to e-mails and will respond accordingly.
“This position will be revisited 6th, April 2020 in line with the Bermuda Government guidelines.”
