Covid-19: The Reefs Suspends Resort Operations

March 19, 2020

Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, The Reefs will be suspending their resort operations starting Saturday, March 21st.

A spokesperson said, “Unfortunately, due to the impact of the Covid-19 crisis and the mandatory self-quarantine for arriving guests, we have made the very difficult decision to suspend our resort operations at The Reefs as of Saturday, March 21.

“In this decision, we want to do everything we can to protect the safety of our guests and staff. We of course hope to reopen upon the ending of the airport closure on April 6th.

“However, we will regularly evaluate this depending on a variety of factors, including any further restrictions, available airline service, or the general travel environment, which could impact the ability for our guests to visit and enjoy our well known Bermuda hospitality. We are working with all of our affected guests and offering them the ability to cancel or rebook to a later date at no charge.

“At this time, we are doing everything we can to support our amazing team members who are all impacted by this very difficult decision and the current travel climate.”
