Photos: Saltus Shavees Raise More Than $100K
More than 60 shavees at Saltus raised more than $100,000 today [March 13] bringing the school’s total raised for St. Baldrick’s to more than $1.7 million over the years.
It was the 13th year that Saltus has taken part in the event, which raises money for research into childhood cancer, and parents joined students to have their hair shaved or donated to Locks of Love.
Head of School Deryn Lavell said: “I want to thank all those brave people – both parents and students – who help to raise so much money for such a good cause. Their efforts are simply magnificent.”
What a magnificent result! Saltus has some splendid and courageous students. Their regard for others is amazing. Bravo, Saltus folks!
