‘We Stay Here For You, You Stay Home For Us’
Bermuda Hospitals Board staff are encouraging the public to do their part to prevent the spread of Covid-19, with a group of staff members posing with signs saying “We stay here for you, you stay home for us.”
In an online post, the BHB said, “Every minute of every day, all BHB staff are committed to caring for our community. Perioperative Services – staff who provide surgical services – are encouraging the public to do their part to keep everyone on the island safe.”
The island’s hospital is in full scale preparation mode due to the Covid-19 pandemic and have said they will do everything within their power to be ready, however have stressed that the “community actions now – social distancing, washing hands, not touching our eyes, nose, and mouth, adhering to quarantine and isolation guidelines and staying at home – are the most important actions that will enable the healthcare system to cope.”
As the island and world deals with the Covid-19 pandemic, we are doing our best to provide timely and accurate information, and you can find more information on the links below.
