WOW Suspends Disconnects, Waives Late Fees
World on Wireless [WOW] will be suspending disconnections and waiving late fees and penalties for customers who have been adversely financially impacted by COVID-19.
A spokesperson said, “World on Wireless [WOW] would like to inform our valued customers that with effect from Monday March 23rd, 2020 we will be waiving late fees and penalties for our residential customers and small business customers who have been adversely financially impacted by COVID-19. We will also suspend disconnections to ensure you continue to receive all information on a timely basis from the Government of Bermuda and the relevant authorities.
“As of this afternoon, our retail store in the Washington Mall will be closed to walk-in customers. We will be able to continue to respond to service requests and payment processing – please either call us on 292-1969 [Monday – Friday 8:30am – 1:00pm] [Saturday 10:00am – 1:00pm] , or email us at info@wow.bm or billing@wow.bm for further assistance.
“We encourage you to periodically look at channel 103, WOW’s information channel, for further updates.
“In the meantime, please remember that there will be press conferences/updates each day at approximately 12:30pm and 4:00pm from Minister Caines on behalf of the Emergency Measures Organization [EMO.]
“Please adhere to the public pronouncements being made by officials, in an effort to reduce the risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus. We hope that you, your families, and our entire Bermuda community will remain safe.”
